Wrenfield

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 7 October 2026

The short version: Wrenfield collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere. There are no ads, no tracking and no accounts. Your games and progress stay on your own phone.

This policy explains how the Wrenfield app (for Android, package name app.wrenfield, and later for iPhone) and this website handle information. Wrenfield is made by Wrenfield. If you have any question, write to info@wrenfield.app.

What Wrenfield does not do

The games work completely offline. While you play, the app does not send anything over the internet.

What is kept on your phone

To let you carry on where you left off, the app saves a few things on your phone only:

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it.

Phone backups. Like other apps, your phone may include this game progress in its own backup to your Google or Apple account, if you have backups turned on. That backup is between your phone and your own account; Wrenfield never receives it.

Removing it. Uninstalling Wrenfield removes everything it saved. On Android you can also clear it without uninstalling: Settings › Apps › Wrenfield › Storage › Clear storage.

Permissions

Wrenfield does not ask for your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files. It only uses the phone’s sound settings so it can play its gentle sounds, which you can turn off in the app’s Settings.

Sending us feedback

The app has a Send feedback button in Settings. It does not send anything by itself. It simply opens your own email app with a new message to info@wrenfield.app. To save a round of questions, the draft already includes the Wrenfield version number and your phone’s model and system version (for example “Wrenfield 1.1.0” and “SM-G991B · Android 14”). You can read, change or delete every word before you decide whether to send it.

If you do email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to read and reply to you and to make Wrenfield better. We never share it or add you to a mailing list. We delete it when it is no longer needed, or sooner if you ask.

Problem reports and diagnostics

Wrenfield has no diagnostics, crash reporting or automatic problem reports. If something goes wrong, the app shows a message on your screen and nothing is sent anywhere. If Wrenfield ever offers a problem report, it will be off unless you turn it on, and this policy will be updated before it arrives.

Buying the full game

Wrenfield is free to try. A one-time purchase to unlock every game is planned. When it is available, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play (and, on iPhone, by Apple’s App Store), under their own privacy policies. Wrenfield never sees your card details, bank details or billing address.

To know you have unlocked the games, the app will ask Google Play on your phone whether the purchase was made. Google gives us a record of each sale (such as an order number, the date and the country), never your card details.

Children

Wrenfield is made for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13. Because the app does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not collect any from children either.

This website

wrenfield.app uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking, and loads nothing from other companies. It is hosted by Netlify, which, like any web host, may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the site. We do not use those logs to track anyone.

If you play the private web version of Wrenfield, your progress is kept in your web browser’s own storage on that device, in the same way, and is not sent to us.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If Wrenfield ever starts handling information differently, this page will say so before the change reaches the app.
